BevNET Review: For a value priced product, Cintron delivers solid and enjoyable flavor with its Guava Passionfruit Green Tea. There's a mild amount of fruit flavor on top of a moderately sweetened base of green tea, with the only soft spot being the slightly syrupy finish (from the high fructose corn syrup). But again, at this price point, it certainly blows away competing products. Packaging is still the only point for obvious improvement, especially as the text and colors used to differentiate the flavors can be hard to distinguish. BevNET Review: Cintron's Green Tea entry is an easy drinking product that delivers a moderately sweet green tea flavor. While it's not the highest quality entry, it is certainly going to have mainstream appeal, especially at the 99 cent price tag that's painted on the can. On that same note, we think they could do better with the packaging. We like the gothic style font of the Cintron logo and energy drink design -- but the green and yellow backdrop on their tea line doesn't really gel with the rest of the brand. BevNET Review: Cintron's Diet Green Tea delivers good levels of tea flavor and a decent level of sweetness, which is the result of a sucralose and ace-k blend that's rounded out with a touch of honey. There's a bit of sweetener aftertaste to the product, but it's on par with competing diet tea products. Then there's the can. At 23.5 ounces, the can is big, which might be a problem if you can't finish this in one sitting as it's not resealable. In addition, some flashier graphics might help spruce up the product. At a minimum, we'd drop the gray bands and go with a full green can. Otherwise, a nice tasting entry from Cintron.Reviewed on: 10/30/2007

BevNET Review: As far as Sweet Tea products go, this one is about average. The flavor of the black tea is enjoyable, but there's a distinct hit of high fructose corn syrup at the tail end of the drink. We could certainly live without that, but for a 23.5 oz can that's only 99 cents, this product is trying to sell value rather than quality. That being said, it's closest competition is clearly AriZona, a product which has a much more recognizable brand but a slightly lower quality taste than Cintron. Overall, nice taste for the price -- but it could be a bit prettier to look at.Reviewed on: 10/30/2007
