Blackberry
Category: Water: Sparkling; Packaging: 14 fl oz (414 ml) glass
BevNET Review:
Oh, how this brings back memories. One of our favorite flavors of Clearly's original lineup, the 2006 rendition does not disappoint. Using cane sugar, a beautiful glass bottle, and a great tasting blackberry flavor, Clearly Canadian has created something that is a hybrid of super premium CSD and new age. Technically, very well done….the question is, does this product have a place in the market? We think so, and we believe that consumers who are seeking a super premium alternative to mainstream CSDs will agree.

Cherry
Category: Water: Sparkling; Packaging: 14 fl oz (414 ml) glass
BevNET Review:
Cherry in our opinion is the best of the new flavors. Featuring a sweet, natural tasting cherry flavor, this variety will most likely have the most mainstream appeal. The reason is pretty simple actually: out of any of the flavors chosen by Clearly Canadian, cherry is the one that is most frequently used in CSDs. While it's still a low volume flavor in the CSD market, it is the most obvious entry point into this brand, plus it's one of the best executed flavors of the brand. Combine that with the beautiful new bottle and you've got a winner.

Raspberry
Category: Water: Sparkling; Packaging: 14 fl oz (414 ml) glass
BevNET Review:
Out of Clearly's new "Original" lineup, Raspberry is the sweetest tasting flavor of the lineup (Editor's note: Raspberry has the lowest amount of sugars of the four "original" flavors). Like the other flavors, Raspberry is a well executed flavor, with natural tasting raspberry flavor that blends almost perfectly with the carbonated water and cane sugar. The lack of coloring is probably much more timely than it was a decade ago, especially as high end retailers and grocery chains are now part of the mainstream. This being said, we think that Clearly Canadian has a real opportunity with its revamped lineup -- and Raspberry is one of the flavors that will get repeat buyers.

Strawberry
Category: Water: Sparkling; Packaging: 14 fl oz (414 ml) glass
BevNET Review:
With a cane sugar version of the original formulation and a slick new bottle, Clearly Canadian is again trying to reinvent itself. This time around, it feels more like a super premium CSD than it does a new age, and we really like it. The highly carbonated formulation is very well done, with a strawberry flavor that's about as natural tasting as they come. This effervescent product's packaging is Clearly's best to date, with raised maple leaves that give the product character and pay tribute to the brand's Canadian roots. Without a doubt, the most appealing and timely Clearly lineup yet.

Blueberry
Category: Water: Sparkling; Packaging: 14 fl oz (414 ml) glass
BevNET Review:
One of two flavors in Clearly's "Zero" lineup, Blueberry was a surprisingly good flavor that exceeded our expectations. Blueberry is not a flavor that we often see in diet products, and it works surprisingly well. Using only Splenda as its sweetener, this product also proves that a great tasting diet product can be made without multiple sweeteners -- definitely one of the best Splenda products we've tried. The bottle gets the same high marks as the "Original" flavors do, but we find the clear labels harder to read than the blue used on the other flavors. It seems to lack depth and contrast, which in turn makes the bottle look slightly less attractive.

Pink Grapefruit
Category: Water: Sparkling; Packaging: 14 fl oz (414 ml) glass
BevNET Review:
Clearly's Pink Grapefruit is the second product in its "Zero" calories / carbohydrates line and, like the other flavors, is a well executed flavor. The pink grapefruit flavor is relatively authentic, but lacks the bitterness of real pink grapefruit. We don't think most consumers will mind. The sweeteners and flavors have been mixed to near perfection, providing the drinker with an extremely refreshing and easy to drink product. The effervescent formulation is among the best of what we've seen in the diet category. Honestly, our only issue with this product is the grapefruit on the label, which for some reason looks less than appealing. Perhaps, it is just us, but a picture of a whole grapefruit would be more appetizing and inviting than the slices.
