Pink Grapefruit (dailyENERGY)

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 20 fl oz (591 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: Clearly Canadian has always had a gift for accurate flavor, and they flex that particular endowment with Daily Energy Pink Grapefruit, producing an energy drink/enhanced water with a near-perfect pink grapefruit pitch: sweet, juicy, but without any unpleasant acidity. The flavor provides a fine mask for the caffeine and other ingredients enhancing this product, making it a terrific functional beverage. Unfortunately, the product is held back by a generic looking blue plastic bottle. For a company that has applied innovation to packaging in the past, it’s somewhat disappointing, but anyone drinking this product will likely come back nonetheless.Reviewed on: 3/12/2007

Raspberry (dailyENERGY)

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 20 fl oz (591 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: This product once again conforms to Clearly Canadian’s high flavor standards. It’s an energy water imbued with an unadulterated, straightforward shot of raspberry that, unfortunately, breaks down a bit towards the end as it falls into the stew of caffeine, salts, taurine, etc, that comprise the functional packet of the product. Nevertheless, if you’re looking for a good-tasting energy product, you’ve found it. If, that is, you don’t care much about looks, because this product doesn’t have a lot going for it in that category. It’s nothing bad, it’s just a boring, generic paper label slapped onto an unattractive blue bottle; while the color might stand out on the shelf, it’s not sophisticated-looking; we’d like to see them try to do something a bit more creative.Reviewed on: 3/9/2007

Lemon (dailyVITAMIN)

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 20 fl oz (591 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: This unsweetened, zero-calorie infused water tastes a great deal like water with a fresh squeeze of lemon in it. We’re truly impressed with Clearly Canadian’s ability to come up with such an accurate flavor, and we think it’s a great relief for “water fatigue.” But this product suffers from the same weak packaging as Daily Energy – a blue bottle that doesn’t say much about the product’s purity and a bland label that doesn’t attract us. With so much competition out there, we’d like to see Clearly Canadian do more to differentiate itself.Reviewed on: 3/9/2007

Orange (dailyHYDRATION)

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 20 fl oz (591 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: We don’t think the Clearly Canadian folks have hit the flavor home run with this product that they have with their other enhanced and infused lines – there’s not so much an orange taste as bare citrus, and while it’s not unpleasant, it’s not going to be our thirst-quencher of choice. Combined with the unpolished packaging, this one needs a bit of work.Reviewed on: 3/12/2007
