Televisa owns the most popular professional soccer team in Mexico, Club America. Las Aguilas del America celebrates their 88th year as Mexico City’s team with their tenth league championship captured this last May. The berry flavor of Club America Energy Drink will help their 22 million loyal fans follow their passion and energize their game.

BevNET Review: We like the screaming eagle on the can and the idea of a Hispanic energy drink is one that hasn’t quite been beaten to death, but this isn’t a great tasting energy drink. It’s got an okay berry flavor, and, judging from the way our knees are shaking after consuming most of one of the 16-ounce cans, it’s certainly got its share of the energy stuff. But there’s an unpleasant tang at the end; not caffeine, maybe too much citric acid. Still, not bad. The tie in with the soccer team will certainly have its reach in certain ethnic markets.
