Review: Peach

Coldkicker is a peach-flavored immune boost shot that is made with 25 percent pear juice along with natural peach flavoring. With a blend of cane juice and stevia, the flavor is sweet but not too sweet, while the stevia does not linger (as it does in many stevia sweetened products). Functionally, this shot contains a host of vitamins -- most notably vitamin C -- which delivers 1667 percent of the recommended daily allowance. Within the proprietary blend there are extracts from green tea (which provides natural caffeine), echinacea, licorice root, elderberry and eleuthero root (also known as Siberian Ginseng). To top off the ingredients list, this shot also contains soy protein and rice flour. The 2.5 oz. PET bottle is full wrapped in a clean and straight forward label. The brand name “Coldkicker” is very intuitive, which in this case, is certainly going to be appreciated those who are in the market for a quick cold remedy (who’s in the mood for gimmicks when you are sick?). The up arrows graphic compliments the tagline “instant immunity boost” and the realistic looking image of the peach helps drive home the products flavor profile. Overall, Coldkicker is a pleasant functional shot that is one of the better cold/flue relief beverages we’ve come across.
