BevNET Review: Cricket's White Peach Green Tea is the latest flavor for a brand whose niche is green tea soda. From a flavor point of view, it's pretty enjoyable, bringing together the earthy flavor of green tea, the sweetness of peach, and the crispness being carbonated. The flavors are well balanced, with pleasant notes of fruit and tea flavor followed by a medium level of sweetness (invert cane sugar). On the packaging front, the product's label is a bit confusing. First and foremost, the wording implies that this is peach flavored with added green tea. Second, the word "sparkling" is hidden off to the side. In our opinion, simplifying things (such as "Sparkling Green Tea with Peach") would be helpful. Overall, an enjoyable tasting product that should appeal to Cricket's existing niche, but we'd like to see some packaging improvements to help further its mainstream appeal.
