Black Currant Nectar
The flagship flavor of the lineup is still a good one, with a strong black currant flavor that's tart and sweet. It's loosely reminiscent of grape juice, which could be good or bad depending on how you look at this product. Added agave syrup aids the sweetness while added ascorbic acid helps with the product's level of vitamin C. Really though, this product's calories and sugar content are an issue for us, especially when the main selling point is its antioxidant capacity. Packaging is the cleanest of the lineup, relying on only images of black currants to sell the drink. On the other hand, the lack of a secondary flavor might present a problem for consumers who aren't familiar with the flavor of black currants. Overall, a good product, but the high calorie count and niche flavor are going to be an issue.
