BevNET Review: The Black Cherry Flavor of Dasani’s Essence line tastes like water with a touch of tart fruit flavoring. While the aroma is definitely that of cherry, the flavor is only faintly recognizable. Furthermore, it’s basically a bitter flavor, lacking the sweet note that helps balance out cherries and cherry flavored products. The result is something that’s not overly enjoyable – we’d prefer to stick with plain water. Packaging is decent, but forgettable, with the image of the cherries being the main thing that draws your eye on the label. Otherwise, this product is likely to blend in with other Dasani products as they’ve failed to give it an identity that stands out. Overall, it’s decent, but not something that we'd reach for again.

This is probably the worst tasting product I've ever had to waste money on. Yeah it happens to be all natural and sugar free, but is that really worth gagging over? I think not. Plain water will do fine for me thanks.

I can't believe this review. I love this product! If it were to taste like cherry it would have more sugar than I am interested in. I like that it is all natural. And, I buy the stuff all the time.

It's amazing how difficult it is to find HEALTHY flavored water. This is one of the few that I've found that doesn't contain harmful artificial sweeteners- and for that I give Dasani kudos!

This water is great! Flavor without any sweeteners! I am desperate to find this in stores, I too, would buy cases at a time. Love it!

I absolutly love this product. I only drink water all day and unsweetened hot tea at night, this gives an option to water with lemon or lime slices, I do hope you will sell this product in cases at the warehouse clubs (Sams) I would buy a case of each if available
