Review: Raw Manuka Honey - Kale Cucumber

This variety of Honeydrop combines the company base "Honeyade" with elements that you’d find in a green juice, namely kale and cucumber. The result is more heavily weighted towards the green juice end of the spectrum, but the company has definitely done a nice job with it. Notes of kale, cucumber, lemon, and apple all hit your tongue, while a finishing note of Manuka honey is definitely present. At 90 calories and 16g of sugars per 10 oz. bottle, this product is in the middle of the pack when it comes to sweetness. This seems like a nice place for the product to be, especially given that this is the only green juice in the lineup. In the current state of the market, where green juice is extremely marketable, this alone will probably make the product pull pretty well. We do, however, think that the branding for Honeydrop could be developed a bit further. While this product doesn’t look bad, the company's branding isn’t really a part of it and from looking at the packaging, it’s not clear what the brand name is. Ultimately, we really enjoyed this flavor, and we think that it’s a smart move for Honeydrop to have this variety as part of the line.
