Diet Coke Plus

Product Type: Carbonated Soft Drink: Diet; Container: 20 fl oz (591 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: As far as Coca-Cola's cola extensions go, this is definitely one of the best tasting. Using a blend of aspartame and ace-k to sweeten the drink is likely the reason. Otherwise, we're not fans of this product. The Diet Coke and Plus logos don't mesh nicely, which makes us wonder how quickly this was thrown together. Finally, there's the vitamins, which amount to a whopping 10 percent or 15 percent of the RDA. We don't think that this is really a compelling value add for the consumer to make the switch. However, it definitely tastes better than regular Diet Coke, for whatever that's worth. Either way, we don't think this drink really has a long future ahead of it.

Coke? Healthy? Ha! No way! Yeah, I was right. This stuff is no big deal. Doesn't have many vitamins in it. Not much difference. It tastes about the same as diet coke. Whatever.

Coke + Vitamins

Coke Plus is really just Coke trying to get in on the energy drink fanbase without doing too much. I didn't mind the taste, though it is difficult to finish. As far as the vitamins go, there aren't too many at all, and it really leaves no signs of revitalizing anything. And FYI, I like the label. Average drink Final Analysis: Coke + Hype. Wheeeeee!

Can not drink.

This remotely resembles the flavor of Coke. Drinking Coke, or any soda, one would hope would be enjoyable. Drinking this has no redeeming qualities, and I could not finish the bottle. The acesulfate-potasium just tastes weird to me. I'm not sure I can taste any vitamins, but the idea of a Diet Coke being healthy is a laughable and almost offensive concept. The marketing aim seems to be to trick people into drinking this swill under the guise of being healthy. Let me say that I think you have a better chance of being poisoned by it.

A Good New Product

I drink regular full sugar sodas on a regular basis, but I do drink diet once in a while and have tried Diet Coke Plus.I think BevNet should have given this one more credit. The taste to me is almost identical to Diet Coke, which isn't a bad thing. What makes the difference is the vitamins, but I'm not sure that it will be enough to sway diet drinkers to this product.Overall, this is a good product. It doesn't taste like vitamins. As far as the way the product looks on the can, I can't eat the can so it doesn't matter, BevNet.

Prefer Diet Coke

As a regular diet cola drinker, I hoped this product would taste the same with the extra vitamins. To me the taste was inferior to Diet Coke and in fact rather unpleasant. My wife felt the same way. Worth a try but it did not win me over.

Tastes better than diet coke, and has B vitamins. I need the extra umph in my day, so I'd choose this anyday over zero or diet coke. If the convenience store would only sell it.

This is good enough for me to drink. But the aftertaste is like there is too many pills shoved down my throat.
