Citrus

Product Type:Functional: Energy Drink: Regular; Container: 16 fl oz (473ml) can
BevNET Review: While it's not a "juiced" formulation, the citrus flavor of DNA drinks very similarly to many of the juice enhanced products on the market today. There's a sweet orange flavor to this product, which does a nice job of complementing the energy bite that rounds out the body of this drink. There's a touch of corn syrup to the finish, but otherwise it's a very enjoyable product that packs a nice punch of energy. Packaging is clean and attractive, with a front panel that keeps the eye focused on the DNA logo. Overall, we think that this is a technically sound product that's definitely worth a try.Reviewed on: 4/2/2008

Lemon Lime

Product Type:Functional: Energy Drink: Regular; Container: 16 fl oz (473ml) can
BevNET Review: DNA's Lemon Lime flavor features a moderately sweet lemon lime flavor that tastes like candy. It's actually quite enjoyable though, which is the result of DNA keeping the level of sweetness under control. On the other hand, we think they've added a bit too much green coloring, which might dissuade some consumers from coming back for more. The can features a colorful, but clean design that should look good in a cooler full of other energy drinks. Definitely worth a try.Reviewed on: 4/2/2008

Citrus Low Carb

Product Type:Functional: Energy Drink: Diet; Container: 16 fl oz (473ml) can
BevNET Review: As far as fruit flavored energy drinks go, this one is definitely a good one, although it uses a flavor that we've seen several times before. There's a sweet orange citrus flavor in here which, for having no calories, carbs, or juice, tastes fairly natural. DNA Citrus Sugar free also has a moderate amount of energy flavor, with the majority of it coming as part of the artificial sweetener finish, which is about average for the category. Packaging is reasonably good, with a clean front panel that would be improved if brighter colors were used (especially for the logo). As for the "DNA" brand, it's an innocuous name that fits the mold of the other players. The big question is whether or not the market has room for one more. Overall, above average taste and appearance.Reviewed on: 9/21/2007
