BevNET Review: Dog n Suds Root Beer is a relatively good root beer. It's rich and creamy and has a very nice vanilla flavor to it. In addition, the classic style of the bottle / brand is very unique and catchy. The only change that we might recommend is that they switch to cane sugar....The product tends to have a slightly syrupy finish, so it would definitely improve the product.

my husband worked at Dog & Suds when he was young. He always talked about the root beer and wanting to open one in Texas. I got to try them on a trip north, loved it. Ordering some by mail now.

Dog n Suds Root Beer is the very best. There is no better root beer. I drink it at my office and people routinly ask where they can get it because it is so good. It's great out of the bottle but even better at a Dog n Suds root beer stand.

one of the best i have every had, though very filling. i can't drink too much, but you don't need to to become happy.

I enjoyed this, but it isn't better tasting than many of the other glass bottle root beers. I'd say it is a little better than A&W and IBC glass bottled root beers though. Makes a killer rootbeer float.

Yeah this is good root beer, I once enjoyed it while camping out and fishing off the pier. Creamy and sweet enough for a root beer, wouldn't have it any other way; A keeper if you can find it.

Smooth and nostalgic

This is the smoothest, best tasting root beer I've ever tasted. It's missing the slightly bitter bite of some others. I've not seen it widely available, so having access to it is a special treat. Brings back nostalgic memories of the drive-ins of the same name, of which only a few remain in operation as of this writing.
