Very good, but not the best
I grew up in NY, went to a lot of delis, and had a lot of Dr. Brown's. I love their black cherry, and I really like their cream. But after having tasted Manhattan Special's Vanilla Cream, that wins over Dr. Brown's Cream Soda, hands down. I'm a little surprised that the BevNET staff likes this one the best. That being said, I certainly will continue to drink this product when available (at restaurants, but not go out of my way to buy it at grocery stores), and I do agree that the bottle is much preferable than can.
This cream soda is very flavorful. Usually creamies have some sort of extra-terrestrial aftertaste that make you want to hurl the 7/8th full can at a cute little pink stuffed animal in frustration, but this one does not! In fact, the drink goes down so smooth, so quickly, that is best followed with another one! Just make sure that it is nice and cold!
