Drink Me’s Ginger Coco is a USDA Organic blend of kale, apple, ginger, lemon, cinnamon, cayenne and coconut, which have been cold-blended and high pressure processed. The product is more of a smoothie than a juice, which is honestly a nice change of pace from all the green juice that’s out there. It starts with a moderately thick and pulpy kale base, which is immediately followed by a note of lemon and a very light hint of apple. The product is sweet, but not too sweet, which is definitely appreciated. The product finally finishes up with a hint of coconut, which is a very unique flavor for a green drink like this. All in all, we really like what’s inside the bottle. It’s both enjoyable and different than what’s out there. On the outside, we very much like the company's move to a squat 15.2 oz. round bottle (it used to be in a square bottle). We also like the color palate and the simplicity of the label. What we don’t like is the actual design, which feels incomplete and slightly amateurish. The Drink Me name is fine, despite not really saying anything about juice, but the look of it simply doesn’t fit with the rest of the package. Lastly, we wish there were more visual (and flavor) differentiation within its lineup of green drinks. Overall, a good product, but the branding and messaging needs work.
