Product Type: Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Container: 8oz glass; 12oz cans
BevNET Review: For those of you who don't believe that cane sugar and glass packaging makes that much of a difference, try Dublin Dr Pepper. This product is truly unlike what most of the world commonly thinks of when they think about Dr Pepper. Dublin Dr Pepper uses Imperial Cane Sugar and is still available in a cute little 8 oz glass bottle. Basically, it's everything we'd want to see in a classic soda. Even if you don't like Dr Pepper, you should still taste this product -- it is simply amazing. Order some online before DPSU pulls the plug on this fine product.

We have a new novelty pop shop here in Oklahoma that has over 500 different drinks. Dr. Pepper has always been my favorite drink. We stopped in and I saw in the fountain machine Dublin Dr Pepper. My curiosity got the better of me and I bought a small cup of it. Boy do I wish I had gotten the large. It has that wonderful flavor of Real Cane Sugar. I'm the type that always wonder what something tasted like back in the Good Ole days, and if everything was that good back then, we need to get back to simpler times. I didn't know how horrible high fructose corn syrup was. We have grown so accustmed to it being in Everything that we've forgotten what things should taste like. I'm already trying to talk my husband into going out to dinner at Pops tonight so I can get more of this stuff. This is a definite must try. You won't be disappointed.

I just got my case of this via UPS. This stuff is amazing. So this is what Dr Pepper is supposed to taste like? That corn-syrup crap is history for me. I have got to the point where I dont want to drink soda without cane sugar, its sweeter, smoother and just plain taste better....I am going to order a couple more cases.

THIS is how soda is supposed to taste!

I ordered a case of 8 oz. bottles and it was definitely worth it. Message to Coca Cola...if you make a version of your product with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, there is a market that is willing to pay more for it.

Legend in a Bottle

The finest version of one of the most unique economically-sustainable soft drink brands of all time. Retro glass, nostalgic graphics, and the smoothest-tasting soda around are integrated into one irresistible package. Dublin Dr. Pepper is a symbol of integrity and purity in an industry that's often too preoccupied with being competitive and "cost-effective". Superior Dr. Pepper, bottle after bottle.

This is the real deal here. We get it in the tall bottles from South Texas and Mexico. I don't know if it is the bottle or the sugar but it is the best. Better even than the glycol formula which was good too. It could be my imagination but it always seems colder than the canned formulas. You want to drink this one all by itself when you have time to enjoy it. It's still the best soda to drop a package of salted peanuts in, a real treat.

CAAAAAAAANNNEEE SUGAR!!!!!! Are YOU listening COOOOKE??!!!!! Its so simple. It's the way things used to taste. Now nobody remembers. It's funny this drink reminds me that the only way to get "the real thing" is to get it in MEXICO. Otherwise I have to drink this.

I'm Finally a "'Pepper,' Too"

Oh, my. I read about this on BevNET and was intrigued. I've always felt that I SHOULD like Dr. Pepper, and yet I don't--it has that funky aftertaste. I mentioned Dublin Dr P. to a friend who was planning a trip home to Texas for a week; he was similarly intrigued and, our luck, happened to see it for sale in Houston. He brought a six-pack back to NYC and was nice enough to split it with me. What a difference! There's NO funky aftertaste, and there's a nice cane-sugar bite, as well. It's entirely devoid of that goopy, corn-syrupy sweetness and, for all intents and purposes, it's not even the same beverage. Non-Dublin Dr P. is really a poor relation of the original. If you're a fan, you owe it to yourself to at least familiarize yourself with the one that started it all. Granted, it's more expensive than the brew that's bottled in other plants (the non-returnable glass bottles are only 8 oz.), but trust me, it's worth it. Nice to know that one bottler, at least, has maintained its integrity.

this is a terrific soda. I don't even like the standard corn syrup Dr. Pepper, I'm more of a Pibb man myself, but this soda threatens to convert me

I tried this at a Soda Jerks store at the the new St. Louis Mills shopping center. It's amazing. It tastes like the old Mr. Pibb, without corn syrup. Dee-lish.
