Love it, love it, love it. And now I miss it, miss it, miss it. Is it just me, or is the industry toying with us by making us fall in love with a product just to take it off the market in our area!! How sad. Everyone I know drank this tonic until it virtually disappeared from all shelves in Western NC.
I like Dr. Pepper a whole lot, but this was a major disappointment. The taste was horrible and I couldn't even finish half a can without dealing with the aftertaste. "Nothing diet about it" my eye!
This is, without doubt, the very best drink ever made! I went to your website because it is becoming increasingly more difficult to find amble supplies at the stores. I was afraid that Dr. Pepper was ceasing production of this drink. After visiting the website, I find that it is, as I feared, a limited run beverage. I hate to think I have to go a day without this beverage!!!! Is there any way Dr. Pepper would reconsider and continuing production of this GREAT drink?
I am an avid Diet cola drinker and for a long time I was hooked on Diet Cherry coke. There is something about a cherry flavor in diet drinks that enhances the flavor of the artificial sweetners and makes for one great calorie free beverage! However, after months of little more than the diet cherry, I started to get tired of that same old cherry, and as it turned out I was tired of cherry drinks alltogther. Then, Diet Cherry Vanilla DP took me by complete surprise, and I just knew I had to try it. What a crazy sounding drink I thought, but it has got to be one of the greatest tasting diet drinks out there. All of the flavors combined make for a brand new drink unlike anything I've ever had, yet, there are hints of those old flavors I've come to know and love. This drink has revitalized my love of the diet cherry combination, and the vanilla, as well as the fact that its dr pepper (the best of the three in my mind) have made for a truly exceptional beverage!
Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper - it sounded like something that I have been waiting for all of my life. Sadly, it didn't change my life - but it still is pretty good. I can't give it a 5, but it's close. It will be in my soft drink rotation for the 75 days (yikes! is that all?) that it is available.
I accidently found this in the store. I have not seen an ad for it. I like it and let the kids have some without telling them it was diet and they loved it also. I enjoy the lack of aftertaste associated with most diet drinks. Its not too sweet like others I have tried. Thanks for a nice change of pace!
I wanted to like it, I was anticipating it, but it just misses. My all time favorite is Caffeine-free Diet Dr Pepper, so when I heard about this I wanted to get it for, oh, months. But it seems to be a cola with less cherry or vanilla than Diet DP. While I want to encourage them for especially concentrating on the diet market, I cant help but think it lacks the toted flavors. I will stick to the 'original'DP or Diet vanilla Cherry or lime Coke (if I want a refreshing flavored COLA). Reminds me of the time A&W changed and I kept thinking it was a bad batch (then they renamed it Sparkling Vanilla) and had to avoid it for years...it was great before and thanks for trying (and concentrating on the 'diet' soda drinkers) but if it aint broke dont fix it!! (I'm stuck with 2 cases!) PS: On the other hand, people who hate diet sodas thought it was good. But Diet DP was the only one I really liked. Guess theres a drink for everyone
