While this brand is focused on its diet variety, the regular version of Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper is a product that Dr Pepper drinkers will want to try. This product, which will hit the market October 15th in the Southwest, was formulated using a base of Dr Pepper flavor with a slight cherry taste to the body and a splash of vanilla to the finish. Overall, it's not much of a departure from the original product, but it is original and refreshing and certainly worth a try. Finally, Dr Pepper has learned from the lessons of Pepsi Blue and Vanilla Coke and plans to make this a limited run (it will be on the market for 6 months -- and only 75 days outside of the Dr Pepper "Heartland"). Grab it while you can.
