BevNET Review: The lemongrass flavor of Dry Soda perplexed some of our tasters, but others found it to be a fair analog to a sarsaparilla or other root-based drink, minus depth of flavor. Lacking, however, was any of the spiciness of real lemongrass. Regardless, the big attraction of this – and other – Dry Soda drinks is their light, not-too-sweet taste and minimalist appearance. We could easily see swigging these products, with their small labels and clear bottles, as we sat in our Eames chairs while listening to our Bang & Olufson sound system. Whether there are enough folks out there who are interested in drinking such a product is beyond the scope of this review, but we wouldn’t hold our breath.
