Rhubarb is definitely one of the more interesting flavors of Dry Soda and since we first took a look back in 2006, it seems like a much improved product. Gone is the golden color of the liquid, making it fit in with the clear color of the rest of the line. In addition, the flavor seems to be dialed up a bit (although it might just be perception from going clear), with the sweet and sour taste of the product providing plenty of depth to satisfy the palate. At 16g of sugar per bottle, the product's level of sweetness is spot on, helping to support the flavor of the drink rather than be a flavor in and of itself. On the outside, the new packaging is a big step forward. It creates a better visual presence for the product, improves readability, and helps better communicate the key points of the product (e.g. 60 calories, less sweet, all natural). Overall, this is a much improved product and it's definitely a flavor that deserves its place in the Dry Soda lineup.
