E10 Energy Drink

BevNET Review: Although it fizzed evilly when we first poured the non-caffeinated, no sugar, no-carbohydrate, Sucralose-sweetened e10 into our tasting cup, this stuff wasn’t evil at all. Nor was it all that good. It’s great that it wasn’t overly sweet or overly bitter – a persistent problem with other energy drinks – but it tasted more like a diluted diet Fanta Grape than anything else, which is a flavor one can take or leave. That having been said, there wasn’t much to attract us to it. The can’s bright purple and red paint job isn't appealing and feels generic, and while many energy drink consumers might not want the extra sugar, we’re not sure how many of them want to go without the every-reliable lift-off from the caffeine – certainly not for something that tastes this blatantly artificial.Reviewed on: 3/30/2005
