Efusjon Edge is marketed as a caffeine enhanced acai berry energy drink. It’s made with a variety of berry juices (juice content not disclosed on the can), including blueberry, chokeberry, elderberry, and black currant. The resulting mix is tart but slightly sweet, with a light amount of carbonation and traces of the added energy ingredients. It’s an extremely drinkable mix, with the fruit flavor providing a flavorful backdrop to the product’s cocktail of caffeine, D-Ribose, vitamins, and antioxidants. Compared with traditional energy drinks, this product has less caffeine (60mg vs 80mg), but it also has fewer calories and sugar, which, when paired with the juice ingredients, should make this a marketable product. However, we’re not big fans of the packaging, which uses a black backdrop and an a logo that’s drawn in purple outline. This is not only makes it hard to read the can, but it’s less attractive than some of the other Efusjon products. We’d love to see the vibrant colors (or similar) that were used on the Raw can. Overall, a very enjoyable product.
