The caffeine free variety of the Efusjon Energy has a mildly sweet flavor that essentially drinks like a superfruit-infused fruit punch, with the addition of carbonation, of course. The flavor is quite pleasant, with notes of acai (from organic clarified acai juice) as well as other tart berries, including blueberry, chokeberry, elderberry, and black currant. There’s only 60 calories per can, which is, in our opinion, a happy medium between zero calorie and full strength. Since it has no caffeine, it’s being positioned as “RAW”. Instead, there’s antioxidants from the juice, a decent amount of vitamins, and D-ribose. So, it’s definitely not what we’d call a traditional energy drink (not that they were going for that anyway). The “antioxidant dietary supplement” tag line (found on the back of the can) seems more appropriate. Packaging is clean and simple, using a bright orange Efusjon logo and a bright purple backdrop. However, it’s a rather sterile looking product, which is probably the intention for the multi-level marketing game. Overall, decent flavor and definitely a good choice if you are looking for a caffeine free energy drink.
