Of the Emma’s Deity lineup, this is definitely the most mainstream flavored product, if for no other reason than the fact that hibiscus tea is a flavor that has been around for a while. In the case of this particular product, they’ve still infused it with their own unique spin, adding clove, cinnamon, lemon, and palm sugar to the mix. These ingredients cut the naturally floral flavor of the beverage with some spice and a splash of lemon, resulting in something that’s smoother and more enjoyable than straight up hibiscus tea. On the outside, they’ve put their best foot forward, with a clean looking label that’s easier to read and more appealing than their other flavors. Prime placement of the USDA Organic logo is a plus, although they can probably eliminate the redundant “Certified Organic Text.” In addition, cleaning up some of the wording on the front panel would definitely make for a better looking product. Overall, this is an enjoyable product that’s likely the most marketable of the bunch.
