Energade: Citrus

If I wanted gatorade.......

Look, the drink doesn't taste that bad, but it isn't all that great. If I wanted gatorade, I would go buy gatorade. Here's a hint for the hansen people; bottle caps. Gatorade has screw tops, sports tops, and everything in between. With that much liquid it's hard to imagine me on-the-go with a giant can of this stuff. It's tall, awkward, and has no way of sealing the top in case I don't feel like chugging the entire thing at one time. If they made these drinks with tops, they would probably sell more. No one wants to be carrying around an open beverage container all day....I mean c'mon...something is bound to happen with an open container with that much liquid inside of it. It is DEFINATELY worth the price tho, and I applaud them for that.

This drink leaves something to be desired, first off its a great idea of 2/3rds sports drink and 1/3rd energy drink new idea or not its a good idea, not a good kick at all to me, but it did have a tollerable taste and had alot to drink which I really like and the price i paid was a mere $1.88 at my local grocery store, but it really need more of a kick to be a really great drink i would purchase on a daily basis.

Awesome Gatorade Alternative

This drink is pretty darn good for the following reasons. First, the sheer size of the can is great and I'm glad they didn't limit themselves to 16 ounces. Next, the concept of the drink is something thats new, at least to me. Half sports drink, half energy drink. Its a simple idea, but still great marketing since Gatorade has nothing like it. I prefer the taste of the Citrus to the orange, but both have a light bodied taste of most sports drinks that very easy to consume and leaves no syrupy aftertaste. This is really an awesome drink to indulge in during tedious physical activies that leave you parched. One of these keeps me very hydrated on hot days when working outside. My only dislikes of the drink are the price. 20 something ounces for $2.50 around here. Not much of a deal. It doesn't really give me the kick a normal energy drink does, I wish they would increase the kick a bit and give the flavor a bit more of a bite. Its very mellow and smooth to drink, but a little more tartness would be nice. Overall, great alternative to Gatorade.

Good price

For only 30 cents more than an 8 oz. drink, you get 3 times the drink. It's pretty much a Gatorade drink, but with some energy drink ingredients and an impressive can.
