Essentia 9.5pH Water

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 1.5 Liter
BevNET Review: As far as bottled water is concerned, high pH (aka alkalinized) water is certainly all the rage right now, at least in terms of new product introductions. And for many of the high pH brands that have been around for a while, rebranding efforts are underway. That’s exactly the case for Essentia, which has gone from being a brand that could blend in with the spring water masses to something that is attempting to establish itself as modern and sporty. The new bottle, which is available in a host of sizes and both flat cap and sport cap formats, feels like something that will appeal to the image conscious consumer. The front panel is simple and clean, with a vertical black bar and a text only design. However, they’ve managed to keep it easy to read and clutter free, which is a balance that is difficult for many brands to strike. The product calls itself “super hydrating water,” which is the result of it’s pH and electrolyte content. Visually, we think that they should emphasize the electrolytes a bit more on the front panel. As it stands right now, electrolytes are mentioned in white text, which is very hard to read on the clear backdrop. Beyond that, the branding of this product is cleanly executed and polished, but it feels like it could use a touch more personality than it currently does. Still, it’s definitely one of the better looking alkalinized waters on the market today and it definitely has the credibility of being one of the longer standing brands on the market. Definitely worth a try if you are into high pH bottled water. Reviewed on: 12/18/2012
