BevNET Review: Billed as “the social drink," Facedrink is clearly a novelty product based on Facebook. This product is a hastily thrown together mix of stock ingredients, including a stock berry green tea flavor and a poorly applied shrink wrap label. While the product is drinkable, it’s not something that people are likely to actually consume, with bottles of this likely ending up on dorm room shelves. We don’t hate it just because it’s a novelty product, but because it’s not clever or creative in the slightest, right down to the “Add as Friend” rectangle that’s on the front of the bottle. Ultimately, we see this as a shameless effort to make a buck and gain notoriety through media coverage. Overall, it’s funny, for about 30 seconds and otherwise it’s one of those products that you’ll really want to forget and/or deny buying. Reviewed on: 6/15/2011
