A favorite in Europe since the 1940s, Fanta was acquired by The Coca-Cola Company in 1960. Fanta Orange is the core flavor, representing about 70% of sales, but other citrus and fruit flavors have their own solid fan base. Fanta sells best in Brazil, Germany, Spain, Japan, Italy and Argentina. Fanta distribution was increased in the U.S. in 2001 with the return of four flavors: orange, strawberry, pineapple and grape. Orange, the biggest seller, is now available in most of the country.

BevNET Review:
Fanta Berry is about the closest product that Coke has to Pepsi's 'Blue'. The flavor is actually quite similar as this is a 'naturally flavored berry soda'. Of course, it doesn't taste anything like real berries -- just lots of flavors and colors, which is exactly what we would expect from Coke. Overall, we really don't like the taste of this product and we think that the overall quality is low. We'll pass on this one next time.

Orange Soda

BevNET Review:
Fanta Orange Soda, which is a Coca-Cola product imported from Holland, is a fine soda made with orange juice. This soda is very refreshing -- it's just too bad that Coca-Cola doesn't make products like this in the United States. This beverage is very refreshing and full of real orange juice flavor. Orange Fanta is an easy sipping gourmet soda with a low level of carbonation. In addition, the packaging is very nice -- it has a thick green molded glass bottle. This is truly a top-notch product. Definitely try this product if you can!
