BevNET Review: Diet White Birch is a remarkably good interpretation of the original White Birch. Even though it uses straight aspartame as its sweetener, this product has little to no aftertaste and maintains a relatively natural level of sweetness. BevNET Review: Diet Gassosa is the diet version of the original Gassosa flavor. Unfortunately, this diet variety has a pretty bitter finish to it, which likely results from using artificial sweeteners along with the relatively light citrus base. We'd recommend increasing the citrus flavor to help hide the aftertaste and perhaps use one of the acesulfame potassium/sucralose sweetener blends.Reviewed on: 10/7/2004

BevNET Review: Diet Orange is a nice looking diet beverage, but the flavor is too bitter and suffers from an aftertaste. We found this product difficult to enjoy. The level of sweetness could be increased to help hide the bitterness, but without switching the flavors and sweeteners, this would give Diet Orange an almost unbearable aftertaste. It definitely needs to be reformulated -- the other Foxon Park flavors have convinced us that they can do better with this flavor.Reviewed on: 10/7/2004

BevNET Review: Foxon Park Grape Soda is a refreshing version of the classic grape soda. The Foxon Park logo and brand give the product an old-fashioned appearance that will definitely appear to the quality conscious consumer. The use of sugar (as opposed to corn syrup) gives the product a a very sweet flavor. BevNET Review: Foxon Park's Lemon Lime Soda is a good quality old-fashioned soda. Using real sugar rather than corn syrup makes a big difference -- as it always does. BevNET Review: Gassosa is a lightly flavored Italian-style soda. Despite the unique name, this product provides a flavor that is definitely familiar to most consumers. Specifically, Gassosa is a light lemon flavored soda that has fewer sugars/carbs than the other varieties of Foxon Park. Still this product has a full strength flavor and is extremely refreshing. BevNET Review: As the name implies, Foxon Park's ginger ale has a pale body and is dry to the finish. The cane sugar sweetened formulation is very crisp and clean and has a mild ginger flavor. BevNET Review: Iron Brew from Foxon Park is perhaps the most unique soda in the Foxon Park line. Even the Foxon Park web site says that it is "tough to describe Iron Brew". We'd probably describe it as a cross between a root beer and a cream soda with a slight citrus finish. It's refreshing, but we can't help but think that Iron Brew is the result of flavors being changed over on the bottling machine, making it more of a "Franken-brew" than anything else. There are so many different flavors in the Foxon Park brand that we'd have to pass on Iron Brew.Reviewed on: 10/7/2004

BevNET Review: Foxon Park Strawberry is a classic style strawberry soda that features a sweet flavor. Perhaps the biggest downside of this beverage is the artificial taste that most strawberry flavors have. Putting the strawberry flavor aside, this product has several appealing qualities to it. First, the packaging has an attractive, nostalgic lookt that will definitely appeal to consumers who are seeking a quality micro-soda.
