How could such a great tasting energy drink like this get such a low rating. In the review it is claimed to have a slight mediciny taste to it. I realize that everyone view the taste differently but to be honest this drink is one of the best at avoiding that awful mediciny taste. And I've tried a lot of energy drinks. If you're a fan of taste and just want something that tastes really good this drink is for you. Trust me, you'll never go back to plain sodas again. Truly a great drink in the midst of so many energy drinks now.
I really enjoyed drinking Full Throttle's Fury flavor. The review had me hold off on it for a while, and I'm upset that I did. It and Blue Demon are better than the run-of-the-mill Full Throttle, and I am glad to see such a delicious drink. No aftertaste, and the orange-citrus flavor, believe it or not, is not easy to come by. This was done right in all aspects, from the initial smell to the last taste.
The taste definitely has me coming back for more. I loved the original, but I'll admit the blood red can was what caught my eye for Fury, along with Blue Demon. Fury is probably my favorite out of the three, with Blue Demon coming in last, but there's a new one coming out in July, to replace sugar free, and another one coming out in August, on the 13th, and I'll have to say, I'm actually excited.
After reading Bevnet's review on this product, I held off for the longest time on trying it. But I finally to become an energy drink conesuer and try everyone at least once. Boy am I glad I did. This is my favorite energy drink now, right next to regular Monster. It does NOT taste like orange fanta at all either. It does have a hint of orange flavor, but more like energized with a sort of tangy tropical flavor. It has a very nice bite to the finish as well. Original full throttle is just "eh," but this truly does unleash the fury. Plus, the red can makes it stand out, just excellence.
The red color and display of "Coca-Cola Company" on the can leads you to expect this one might taste like Coke (also a red can), but is more of cheap orange soda flavor. It's fairly bitter, in a not good way. It's energy properties aren't much. Before I said there was two flavors of these, not there's a THIRD blue one. It's also no good.

Why? Seriously...
I mean...I understand that when a Major Energy Drink company makes good energy drinks, they make more flavorful ones and hopefully get people to like it...well, this one ain't cutting it.
It's ok, but please...just stick to the regular Full Throttle.
Taste - Just like the regular Full Throttle, but with more of a focus on a citrus flavor. Kind of like cheap orange soda. How wonderful. The slight cola taste the original had is gone though and overall I'd say this does taste slightly better. Still crap compared to the competition though. Energy - Not much. Once again Coke gyps us with mass produced swill. Much less energy ingrediants than comparable drinks. Design - I must say the red can is somewhat eye catching. Of course Rockstar did a very similar can first with their energy cola.
Pretty good (especially the diet version) for an energy drink.
To the previous poster commenting on a diet version being good if available, it may not be in your area, but it is in mine and it's actually among the better of the diet energy drinks like this. The non-diet isn't bad either by any means, but being diabetic I'm somewhat limited in my choices. The only diet energy drink I can think of that tastes as good or better is maybe MDX. Diet Rockstar is tolerable but it tastes like carbonated Robitussin to me (at least partially). Definitely a big improvment over Red Bull and Diet Red Bull, but then they've always tasted like complete crap to me.
All in all it's better tasting than most energy drinks. I can't say I notice any big plus or minus in the energy part from drinking it but that's pretty typical with me and most energy drinks. For some strange reason, I tend to be fairly resistant to most medications as well, and need higher doses to get the desired effect vs most people of equivalent body mass so that might be part of it.
Worth a try definitely, particularly the diet version if you're looking for a relatively good tasting diet energy drink. This is one of the few I'd drink if it were just a regular soda based on taste.
