+ Show Product ReviewDragonfruit Kiwi

Product Type:Juice: Juice Drink; Container: 18 fl oz (532 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: Dragonfruit Kiwi isn’t quite as bitter tasting as its Tropical Lemon counterpart, but it sure doesn’t taste anything like Kiwi, either. Still, if we had a hankering for the caffeine, guarana, Super Citrimax ginseng, and the like, and we didn’t want too many calories, we might reach for this – it does taste a bit like fruit punch, and not toxic. Although you’d never believe that if you read the label, which, for the non-nutriceutically inclined, reads like the ingredients of something you'd see in a pharmacy.Reviewed on: 12/4/2005

+ Show Product ReviewGrapefruit Tangerine

Product Type:Juice: Juice Drink; Container: 18 fl oz (532 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: Only lightly flavored, this low carb cocktail suffers a bit from the taste of its mass of additives – a situation that’s probably not helped by the inherent bitterness of grapefruit as a flavor. But it’s still not as noticeable as it could be, and this product even manages to be mildly refreshing – something that’s rare with such a heavily nutriceutical beverage. If we were interested in accessing the effects of the laundry list of additives listed on the front of this bottle, we might very well have this, and more than once. But we don’t know that we’d drink it if we weren’t looking for it.Reviewed on: 12/4/2005

+ Show Product ReviewGreen Tea

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 18 fl oz (532 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: We didn’t taste green tea at all in this product. Still, green tea is a tough flavor to get right and given the number of additives Fuze puts into it these low-carb-cocktail-type beverages, maybe it’s best that they didn’t make it overly heavy on green tea. As it stands, whatever comes in the bottle labeled green tea is mildly sweet with hints of melon and honey, and isn’t bad tasting. If you’re looking for green tea, you might find extracts in the mix, but flavor-wise you’ll be disappointed. If you’re looking for a pleasant way of ingesting a mix of nutriceutical ingredients ranging from Super Citrimax to ginseng, though, this is definitely the right way to go.Reviewed on: 12/4/2005
