BevNET Review: Classic Lemon Lime Gatorade has always been one of our favorite flavors and Gatorade Lemonade is perhaps a bit too similar in taste and style. The product smells something like fresh lemonade and it’s got a hard-water feel on the tongue, as if it would require special detergent to get your dishes clean. The flavor isn’t terrible, but it isn’t memorable, either – it’s hard to figure out why anyone would pick this over Gatorade’s original Lemon-Lime flavor. But summer is coming, and maybe they’re hoping to ramp it up as a flavor someone will pick up after a sweaty game of hoops or something. Still, this product is nothing terribly inspiring or original.

Love the taste

Reading the article and comments, one immediately senses that taste is quite different from one tongue to the next. I love the taste of the Lemonade flavor over the regular Lemon-Lime. In fact, I would invert the comments that dislike the Lemonade in favor of the Lemon-Lime in terms of mouth feel and after-taste. But I also like a lot of foods and beverages others don't. Fresh vegetables and fruits, grass-fed meats and dark breads. Last time I ate a dinner at my brother's home I gagged at the over-processed, over-cooked foods. His family gagged at a dinner of fresh foods made with lots of exotic seasonings my wife cooked for them. But back to Gatorade. Did they discontinue the Lemonade flavor? Is there anything other than the regular flavor that is similar?

Missing Lemonade

With all the new packaging, flavors and sizes I can't find the lemonade this year. I have a store and have been selling it for years. Our customers like it.

lemonade

the lemonade is good. I like it. in fact my husband and I were looking for it in the store, and can't find it.We like it much better than the lemon-lime.

Stick to Lemon-Lime

No point in buying this, unless you like the nice smell. It's just a weak and watered down lemon lime.
