BevNET Review: Unfortunately, this flavor tastes like a watered-down candy flavored beverage. The berry flavor is weak and it has a sour finish -- not enjoyable at all. Plus, the washed out colors make the product look pink, which is, in our opinion, not an appealing color for Gatorade. Definitely in need of serious improvement.

Best flavor of Gatorade out there. Perfect for sipping or chugging. The colder it is, the better it taste but you can drink this stuff room temp and it's still refreshing.

i belive the rain berry flavor is one of the best flavors due to its not very strong flavor. this makes the berry much more pleasant to drink on a regular basis, unlike the overly sweetened sodas and/or artificial drinks. that is why, it is very disappointing to see that the availalbility of this specific flavor/ rain berry has decreased, since 2010. i am a big fan of this flavor and have been searching everywhere for it hoping that i can have access to more of my favorite drink. thank you, mahsa salimi

Rain is delicious. I tried it a week ago and have become completely addicted. The fruity flavor is so light and refreshing, and even the pale purple color is pretty wonderful. As a woman this is my essential summer drink. Gatorade wins with this one.

Like others have said, this has a very light berry flavor, though I definitely wouldn't say it's like most very sweet American candy; my shampoo reminds me more of candy than this. When it's cold, it is very crisp. I usually don't chug Gatorade, but I have downed more than one of these in one go.

I like the new Rain gatorade, and the berry flavor is just right. The regular "Fruit Punch" gatorade is too strong, too sweet, and the Rain variety goes down much, much better. When riding my horse all day, I find that having Rain berry drinks with me helps a lot, I drink more, and stay hydrated.

75 mile ride, temps reaching 100°, Rain will give you the correct balance of electrolytes and a great taste. Rain will allow the correct rate of water absorption and stomach emptying. Other types of sports drinks are too heavy. A great product for hydration before, during and after a long ride.

I never cared for Gatorade- the taste was too strong and too salty. I LOVE Gatorade Rain. The light taste is perfect. I like both Berry and Strawberry Kiwi. I haven't tried the lime one yet. I don't understand the complaints on this site. Of course, I am female, so maybe Rain appeals more to me for that reason. Whatever the reason, I'm basically addicted to Rain. I get all the advantages of Gatorade without the strong, salty taste.
