BevNET Review: Tangerine is definitely more palatable than the Lime and Berry flavors. The visual appeal of this product is still a bit questionable, but fortunately the flavor makes up for it. Where the lime and berry flavors tasted washed out, the tangerine actually tastes fruity and refreshing. The packaging, however, is still not terribly appealing compared with the vibrant colors of Gatorade's other lines.

IT is the only gatoraide that doesn"t tear my stomach up. Have been unable to find it in Sparks,Reno,Nv.

My favorite Gatorade by far, and I've tried them all. Just can't find it in the local stores in So. Calif.

tangerine rain is an excellent drink . It is not overpowering like the normal Gaterade. it has just the right amount of flaver.

Very bland tangerine taste. The color caught my eye of course. I am a Gatorade freak however. This Tangerine was not all there.

Looks - And Tastes - Like Tinted Water

Although I still give Gatorade props for the crystalline clarity of their new Rain product (it just LOOKS like so quenching!) the Tangerine flavor leaves a lot to be desired. The very nice, fruity tangerine/orange flavor has an easy and natural taste, but is so diluted that it's more like a scent than a flavor. The characteristic Gatorade "saltiness" that lurks in the background of regular Gatorade is almost entirely missing here (some people may think of that as an advantage.) Over all, I don't think that the Rain line is going to be a successful product for Gatorade. It won't surprise me if I start seeing it in job lot and dollar stores by this time next year.
