BevNET Review: Gay Energy Drink is a disappointment on many levels. Sure, they may do an good job marketing to the gay community with their direct brand, but the product inside the can is another story. Basically, it's a sweet and sour citrus style formulation that's mediocre at best. The level of carbonation and sweetness in this product have way too much kick. Overall, it needs serious work -- it's just a me-too product.

Gay products are focused on satisfying a very daring niche of market, I haven´t seen any product like this so far. I tasted the drink in Spain, and it is marvellous. In either case, regardless its taste, Gay Energy Drink is a marketing success.
