Acai Blueberry Pomegranate
The last flavor that we sampled was this one, a superfruit flavored blend of acai, blueberry, and pomegranate flavors. Blueberry is the dominant and most natural tasting flavor of the mix, with the pomegranate and acai flavors not being distinguishable from one another. That being said, the three flavor name seems a bit much, especially since it’s flavorings, and not juice, that flavor this mix. Otherwise, we appreciate this product’s efforts in creating an energy drink that uses herbal ingredients and natural caffeine. What’s also nice is their intention of donating 10 cents per can to sustainable energy initiatives. Their approach to the design of their can is one of the more unique approaches that we’ve seen to date, with the supported cause taking center stage on the package. That seems like a good bet, especially since this design is more likely to catch the eye of the socially conscious consumer than the countless other energy drinks that feature aggressive looking themes. Plus, we’re pretty sure that once they look at the ingredient panel, they’ll be pretty pleased with what they see and taste. Definitely worth a try.
