Go Fast Energy Drink : GFTea

BevNET Review: While tea flavored energy drinks aren't new, GoFast's interpretation of the concept is one of the more innovative that we've seen. First, they've used a mixture of green, black, and white tea extracts or solids, which adds a slightly different dimension to the flavor of the product. Second, they've used Bioenergy Ribose, which adds a marketable credibility to this product. Otherwise, the energy mixture includes B vitamins, ginseng, caffeine, guarana, taurine, ginkgo, and inositol. Finally, the flavor is lightly sweetened with sugar and honey and has no preservatives, which makes for a very crisp and smooth flavor, especially with the light amount of carbonation in the drink. While there are better tasting tea energy drinks out there, GFTea has achieved a nice balance of drinkability and functionality. From a formulation point of view, it's probably our favorite product from GoFast to date. On the outside, however, we were left wanting more. Specifically, the eye immediately goes to the massive GoFast logo making a bit of a search to find the flavor name. Better cohesion between the two would be a great improvement. Still, an extremely enjoyable product.
