BevNET Review: Looking at the Z17 can, we were expecting something different in the way of functionality, but, according to the can, this is simply a different flavor blend. Tasting Z17 side by side with GoFast original, the variation in flavor is very subtle at best. However, those subtleties make for a better tasting drink than the original. It's clean and crisp, with a moderate amount of sweetness in this 240 calorie can. The can doesn't disclose the amount of caffeine in the can, but it does have a significant amount of taurine (1000mg per serving) and added ribose (200mg) for the purposes of creating sustained energy. It's a pretty credible looking product, but the Z17 name might be a bit off putting to mainstream consumers. Either a new name along with a bit more variation in flavor or a more clearly stated point of difference would help this product stand out. Overall, it's a technically strong product, but when paired with the rest of the GoFast line, we're not sure where it fits in.
