The product will be offered nationwide in stylish 16.9-ounce single- serve glass bottles.

Diet Iced Tea
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 fl oz glass (500 ml)
BevNET Review:
It's rare that a diet black tea will receive the best review of a line of tea, but Gold Peak is proving that there is exception to the rule. The main factor is the lack of high fructose corn syrup, which gives the product a more crisp flavor that has stronger tea presence. Still, it’s not great, with an artificial sweetener aftertaste that is somewhat harsh and a tea flavor that's not as good as competing products. And, finally, there's the bottle, which feels a bit confused and doesn't really pop out at you. Coke should take this one back to the R&D lab.

Green Tea
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 fl oz glass (500 ml)
BevNET Review:
Coke misses the mark again with the Green Tea flavor of Gold Peak. Featuring a flavor that vaguely resembles green tea, this product is sugary and syrupy, but lacks in tea flavor compared to other mainstream brands. The packaging isn't terrible, but it's rather bland, especially when you remove the plastic that wraps the generic gold cap. Overall, there's really nothing memorable about this product's flavor or appearance. Definitely needs improvement.

Lemon Flavored
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 fl oz glass (500 ml)
BevNET Review:
Lemon flavored tea is usually the easiest way to gauge one brand of tea vs. another -- and Gold Peak is no exception. The package has a Western US, straight from the Rockies feeling to it, but, much like the set of a Western movie, the bottle is a façade attempting to cover up for the inferior product within. Specifically, the product uses "the finest tea leaves and pure water", but also uses many ingredients that are staples of Coke's products, including high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, and phosphoric acid. There's simply nothing "fine" about this product. It has a syrupy body that is only made worse by the inferior taste of the black tea. This product truly makes little sense to us, especially when they've created nothing that will help win over drinkers of AriZona or Snapple (the two dominant players in the category).
