BevNET Review: Lemon and mate are the perfect match for each other, so it's no surprise that this product has an extremely enjoyable flavor. This wholesome shot has a moderate level of sweetness thanks to the use of evaporated cane juice, while added yerba mate (with natural caffeine), acerola cherry, goji berry, ginger, vitamin B12, and vitamin C provide the functional benefits of the shot. Packaging has a unique feeling as well, starting with the use of glass instead of plastic, and prime placement of the USDA Organic logo which will help bolster the product's credibility. Otherwise, the design is attractive and easy on the eyes, with the drink's purpose ("organic energy shot") presented in an easily readable font on the center of the front panel. While we like the complexity of the Chocolate Raspberry flavor over the Lemon variety, this one is likely to be the more marketable of the two, based on the its classic tea like flavor. Overall, a perfectly executed shot from Guayaki.

FABULOUS IN BOTH FLAVORS

This review was posted for the Chocolate Raspberry. I had the opportunity to use both flavors and feel that the review is appropriate for both. I had the opportunity to enjoy this flavor and the Chocolate Raspberry on a day when I was not only taxed mentally, but physically as well - an 18 hour on the clock day at work. Unlike other energy drinks that cause many people to get the jitters or have other negative side effects, Guayaki Energy shots gave me all of the good without the bad. I had sustained energy and experienced a sense of well-being. My mental capacity and strength was clear without any muddled headaches. The ONLY energy shot I will take. Not only does it increase your energy it is natural and safe. What more could you ask for?
