BevNET Review: As far as energy drinks made with tea go, this is definitely a well executed product. The flavors starts out very much like an RTD tea and finishes cleanly with a dash of honey and lemon flavors. The lack of carbonation is a major plus, as is the use of organic cane juice as the sweetener. We're not sure how we feel about its USDA Organic certification, but maybe there are consumers looking for this. In any event, the product has a very nice look to it, with a bright green and yellow color palette that works nicely with the other flavors in the brand. It feels modern, hip, and attractive. Definitely a credible looking energy product. We really like it.

Not as good as I thought it would be

I tried the Juicy Superfruit drink (the pink can) a little while ago and found it very good, so that's why I bought some more Guru to try them out. I tried the Green Tea Honey-Lemon just yesterday (when writing this) at a party. As for every Guru product, the can looks awesome. But the taste is still in my memory. I'd say it tastes 60% like medicine and 40% like commercial iced tea made from concentrate. No honey anywhere. It's not THAT bad -- I got the green tea taste and it feels organic --, but I can't say it tastes good. Pretty disappointing. For the energy, it kicked in appropriately and lasted long enough, so no complaint here; no dizziness or anything. By the way, my taste buds are really difficult, so maybe someone would like this, but I would honestly doubt it. I hope the other flavours taste better. Go with one of the Superfruit flavours (pink can, which I have tried, or maybe the orange one). P.S. English is not my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes.

worst energy drink I have ever tried

My coworkers and I tried this stuff last night. Don't drink it!! It tasted disgusting (ok, they all do) but it also tasted remarkably chemical for something "natural". Then, before any of us even finished them, we started to feel sick to our stomachs. One girl said she was seeing "in technicolor". We all felt zooted out of our heads and nauseous. I couldn't eat. By the end of the night, I felt like I had a bad case of the flu- achy, stuffy, nauseous, and weirdly hot. I'm fine this morning except for a little achiness. So, all I can say is never, never, never drink this stuff, even if it's free (it was). It's all-natural, organic poison.
