The Unsweetened variety of Harmless Harvest 100% Raw Tea is a relatively potent tasting beverage that is, as the name states, made with raw tea leaves. Aside from using “raw” in a very literal sense, the product has very raw flavor as it’s made with only two ingredients: water and organic tea leaves. From there, the tea leaves are cold-steeped and uses no heat (the company uses high pressure processing). The resulting flavor is pretty similar to green tea: full bodied, slightly grassy, and a touch of bitterness to the finish. In our opinion, we find the other two varieties preferable to this one, but if it’s zero calories you are after, this is a great choice. In addition, this product definitely has some caffeine kick to it (although the exact caffeine content is not disclosed on the bottle). Packaging is a 10 oz. plastic bottle with a sleeve wrap label. Like the other flavors, the bottle does a nice job of creating the vibe of a super premium homemade product. The dark green label seems like a good choice, both because it is a nice complement to the white label of Harmless Harvest’s flagship coconut water and because it feels like a color that denotes tea. Beyond that, the leaf images in the backdrop and the simple messaging should definitely help this product pull. Overall, a very nice job from Harmless Harvest.
