BevNET Review: Unlike most energy shots that have been hitting the market lately, this variety isn't taking the sugar and calorie free approach. Instead, it has a formula that's actually pleasant to drink, using a mild green apple flavoring that's sugar sweetened. Functionally, the drink delivers taurine, caffeine, and B vitamins -- a pretty standard mix as far as we can tell. You can definitely feel the kick from the drink. Packaging is a 4 ounce slim bottle that has been given a punk theme, which aside from almost exclusively relying on vertical text, is clean and intuitive. BevNET Review: Of the three flavors of Headshot, Original Flavor is the most similar in flavor to the classic energy drink flavor (unidentifiable berry meets bubblegum). It works well in this drink's non-carbonated, sugar sweetened 4 ounce format, mainly because the flavor is much stronger than in an 8 ounce drink. Same goes for the functionality, which relies upon taurine, caffeine, and B vitamins. Compared with some of the smaller 2 ounce shots on the market today, Headshot is a well executed and enjoyable product both inside and out. Reviewed on: 10/2/2008

BevNET Review: Featuring a candy like bluberry flavor and bright blue colored liquid, this was our least favorite of the Headshot lineup. While this variety has the same sugar and calorie content as the other varieties, it tastes sweeter and more tart.
