BevNET Review:
So we gave Her a try, and we were mighty impressed. Her is an energy drink aimed at (guess what?) women. And Her has a tasty pink lemonade flavor which is very tasty indeed, like a terrific lemonade soda but one with caffeine. Her makes some pretty lady-friendly claims, but ones that aren’t really supported by the list of ingredients – while the can claims the drink’s got calcium, for example, the ingredients reveal it as under two percent of the mix. But if Her is a little disingenuous when it comes to ingredient claims, the package they put Her in is very pretty, anyway – all pink, with little light pink swirls. Regardless, having Her aim largely for distaff consumers is going to turn off a lot of men, who do happen to consume most of the country’s energy drinks. Still, if they knew about the taste, a lot of men would be chasing Her.

Her Energy - Pink Lemonade Sugar Free
Category: Energy: Regular; Packaging: 8.4 fl oz can

BevNET Review:
Her is one of the best tasting diet energy drinks we’ve ever tasted – the pink lemonade flavor is a natural for eating up many of the off-flavors that tend to characterize this class of beverages. The sweeteners, a blend of sucralose and ace-K, aren’t used in such heavy doses that they bothered us while we drank Her, but when we finished Her off, we did have a mild chemical taste, although not as bad as with those products that really tend to overuse sucralose. The pink-on-white can is basic and well-organized, and using colors that are reminiscent of the old Coke warhorse TAB isn’t a bad idea. The only negative, however, is a big one, and that’s the idea that a woman-oriented energy drink, particularly one that so directly shuts out the male majority of energy drink consumers, could get enough buyers to put this product over the top. We’d love to see Her prove us wrong. It tastes that good.
