Review: Hiball Club Soda

(Last Updated: Feb 02, 2007 at 4:49 PM)
Hiball Club Soda, like its Tonic Water cousin, is positioned cleverly as an energy drink mixer. The club soda is packaged in a 10 ounce glass bottle and has a "retro" look which works very well for the brand. It addition to its obvious role as a mixer, the drink has the added dimension of being a low-cal beverage (only 5 calories per bottle). Given the large number of energy ingredients in it (caffeine, guarana, B vitamins, etc), we were pleasantly surprised with its clean flavor which basically resembles that of a classic club soda. Overall, this an innovative and attractive beverage which should appeal to the young adult and on-premise segments.
