Review: Oinkin' Orange

This product has a few things going for it and a few things that need to be improved: on the good side, it’s low in calories (37 per bottle) but still sweet – made with real sugar, as well as a subtle ace-k and aspartame blend -- it’s got a convenient, portable 10-oz. size that seems to be a natural for its intended under-12 target consumer, and it’s got a fun, funny label with a silly name. On the downside, the spout is tough to suck on and the extra freshness cap buried underneath the spout means a parent will have to spend extra time yanking it off for no apparent reason. It certainly isn’t something anyone past bar mitzvah age will get caught drinking, ever, but it’s a nicely done version of the high-vitamin-c juice drink.
