BevNET Review: Honest’s Mango Green Tea is a superbly executed product that delivers just the right amount of fruit and tea flavors. The base of green tea is a familiar one – it’s very much the same as what you’ll find in other Honest Tea flavors. The addition of mango flavor and just a touch of sweetness makes the product extremely drinkable – almost addictive – to the point where 16.9 oz. of this stuff starts to feel like not that much. The product has 85 calories, 20g of sugar, 45mg of caffeine, and 200mg of EGCG (antioxidants) per bottle, which make it reasonable on the diet and also provides a slight pick-me-up. Packaging has always been one of Honest’s strong points, and this entry is no different. Using their new, lighter PET bottle, this product has the best of both worlds: sustainability and visual appeal. Placement of the USDA Organic logo is a plus, but we’re really more enthralled with the cleanliness and simplicity of the drink’s front panel, which feels easy to read text and imagery that pops and whets the appetite. All in all, this is one of those products that we could easily add to our daily regimen. A great job by Honest Tea.
