Manufacturer's Brand Overview: [Edit]
Honest Tea stands for real tea and real taste. Each Honest Tea flavor is brewed based on a recipe perfected over generations in a specific region of the world. As a result, a drink of Honest Tea becomes a cultural experience, from the genuine tastes to the distinctive international art and quotations on the labels. Honest Tea allows people to enjoy the world's second most popular drink the way hundreds of civilizations and nature intended it to be. Tea that tastes like tea -- A world of flavor freshly brewed and barely sweetened.

Pomegranate White Tea with Acai
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 of PET
BevNET Review:
Not only does Honest’s latest creation use the trifecta of popular antioxidant-loaded ingredients – white tea, pomegranate, and acai -- it’s also one of their best tasting and most marketable creations to date. Starting with the fruit aroma, this product delivers a nice blend of real fruit flavor which, unlike most other teas we sample, is partially derived from actual fruit concentrates rather than solely from flavoring. But that’s not to say that this product has no tea flavor – because it is certainly not short on that. The tea tastes like real white tea, freshly steeped. Honest has done a great job of creating balance in this product, letting both the tea and fruit flavors shine. And, as always, it’s organic and safe for people who are watching their calories (only 74 per 16.9 fl oz bottle) but don’t want "diet" products. Overall, a superb product from Honest Tea.

Citrus Energy Green Tea
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 oz PET
BevNET Review:
Upon first sip of this product, we weren't quite sure how to feel about this product. Yes, it makes a lot of sense for Honest Tea -- or any beverage company, for that matter -- to brand a drink with the word "energy" on the label. However, Honest's entry, which derives its energy from yerba mate and green tea, has a flavor that doesn't quite have the balance of their other products. Specifically, there's just a little too much citrus on the front end of the taste. The second part of the flavor is that of the tea and mate, which is very enjoyable, especially in the mellow formulation that they've used. Overall, Citrus Energy Green Tea is a good product, but with a bit of tweaking, it would be much more enjoyable.

Honey Green Tea
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 oz PET
BevNET Review:
Honest Tea has done a nice job with this variety, blending a mild green tea base with just a dash of honey and sugar. Plus, being light on the calories (75 per bottle) and high in EGCG doesn't hurt either. Really though, it's the pleasant flavor of the drink that makes this product worth a try. On the outside, they've given the label a makeover, which results in a more modern feeling that previous efforts. Gone is the crunchy feeling, which is probably a good thing as the brand tries to extend its reach. Overall, superb taste and a modern look make this a great entry from Honest Tea.

Lemon Black Tea
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 oz PET
BevNET Review:
Honest's "Organic Lemon Black Tea" is a premium take on the classic RTD iced tea. They've kept it simple, blending organic ingredients cane sugar, black tea, lemon juice, lemon extract, and citric acid, which gives the product a very fresh and enjoyable taste. Also, they've kept the sweetness under control, giving the product a modest 20g of sugar per bottle. Packaging is clean and to the point, with a very polished look to the front of the bottle. A job well done by Honest Tea.

Peach White Tea
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 oz PET
BevNET Review:
Like the other flavors of Honest Tea, Peach White has a mellow flavor profile that delivers high quality tea flavor and just a splash of fruit flavor and sweetness. The organic certified formulation is clean and crisp, keeping the enjoyment factor high. Featuring Honest's latest packaging design is a big plus, which gives the product a more modern and polished feeling than its predecessors. In addition, it features their new EGCG antioxidant meter on the front of the bottle, which is an interesting move to help promote the drink's healthy aspect. Overall, an extremely enjoyable entry and the modern packaging should help Honest extend its reach.

Cranberry Lemonade
Category: Juice: Juice Drink; Packaging: 16.9 oz PET
BevNET Review:
Honest's organic Cranberry Lemonade is the second flavor in the Honest Ade lineup. Like its limeade counterpart, this variety has a delicate sweetness to it and uses only 13g of sugar per serving. As a result, Cranberry Lemonade has a lighter feel to it than most other juice drinks. There's a homemade feel to the lemonade flavor, but the cranberry is a bit too mild: as a result, this product tastes more like what would traditionally be called "pink lemonade." Whether or not this was intended, we expected something a little stronger from a product called "Cranberry Lemonade." Still, the overall taste is pleasing and quenching which, when combined with the superior formulation and organic seal, makes this a great addition to Honest's lineup.

Limeade
Category: Juice: Juice Drink; Packaging: 16.9 oz PET
BevNET Review:
The Limeade variety of Honest Ade is an organic fruit drink that holds to the high standards set by Honest's line of organic teas. With only 13g of carbs per serving, this product will have a noticeably light level of sweetness -- one very much on par with Honest's "tad sweet" teas. At first sip, it might even taste too light, especially if you're used to consuming RTD juices with twice as much sugar (or corn syrup), but this product will definitely lure you in as you continue to consume it. The sweet flavor or the organic cane sugar is balanced perfectly with the sour lime flavor. On the packaging side, Honest has come up with a bright, appealing green label on an attractive PET bottle. Overall, this is product with definitely visual and taste appeal -- a job well done by Honest Tea on its first entry outside of tea.

Orange Mango with Mangosteen
Category: Juice: Juice Drink; Packaging: 16.9 oz PET
BevNET Review:
The latest installment to the Honest Ade lineup is Orange Mango with Mangosteen, a lightly sweetened, organic fruit juice cocktail that manages to maintain a flavor that’s close to a full calorie product. There’s a mild orange flavor that hits your tongue first, followed by a decent splash of mango. It’s certainly refreshing and it’s probably the most mainstream tasting juice they’ve created to date. However, we’re not sure that this is a good thing, especially since it seems to lack the same wholesome flavor that always seems to stand out in Honest’s products. Specifically, there’s the noticeable flavor of white grape as well as flavors that are clearly derived from flavorings. The packaging, on the other hand, it is very appealing, with colorful pictures of fruit being the primary focus of the design. They’ve wisely omitted an image of mangosteen (a tree fruit that looks like a deformed squash), resulting in a product that looks like the super premium juice that it is. Overall, a good, well-formulated product, but we’d like to see a little more substance and a bit less white grape and flavoring to this product.

Pomegranate Blue
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 oz PET
BevNET Review:
Honest Tea's third foray into the juice category is called Pomegranate Blue, a lightly sweetened pomegranate and blueberry flavored "organic fruit quencher". Like the other Honest Ade flavors, Pomegranate Blue features a vibrant and appetizing design. Prominent placement of the USDA Organic seal and Honest Ade's tag line, "Just a tad sweet", help reinforce the healthy focus of this product. But how does it taste? Well, if you are used to full strength juices that are filled with sugar and filler juices, Pomegranate Blue might taste a bit watered-down the first time you try it. However, this is one of those products that really grows on you as you drink more. Plus, you won't feel bogged down having just ingested 200+ calories and tons of carbs -- this product has only 100 calories and 26g of carbs per bottle. Overall, it's a very pleasant experience that we will definitely reach for again.
