BevNET Review: The Agave Mate variety is one of the most lightly sweetened flavors that we’ve seen from Honest Tea in a while. Using organic agave for both the drink’s sweetener and for a touch of flavor, it pairs quite nicely with the very light mate base that’s used in this product. On that front, if you are looking for a strong mate flavor, you won’t find it here. This flavor has clearly been formulated to fit within the same style of other Honest Tea flavors – and the simplicity of the formulation delivers. Packaging is clean and minimalist, with a blue agave backdrop on the trademark “T” logo and prime placement of the USDA Organic logo. Overall, a technically strong entry from Honest Tea.
