BevNET Review: Grape Guzzler is yet another out-of-the-ordinary soda from Skeleteens. The unique attributes of this soda are its very low leverl of carbonation and sweetness. Truly the "Cure for the Common Soda" as is stated on the label. Overall, this beverage is definitely worth drinking -- as well as collecting if you are into Hot Rod Magazine.

about the soda

what happen y did they stop saleing them there really good i rember drinking them all the time and when they stop saleing them i kept one yeah i had a hard time trying not to drink it but damn man this suck they would be awsome gift for father day or haning out in ur garage fixing up ur rides

My grandpa just gave me a bottle of Grape Guzzler today. It is unopened and limited edition. It looks exactly like the picture above, but i dont know what it is worth xD

These sodas were sold in Northern Virginia at Tower Records as a "novelty" item back in the mid '90s. The labels are reminiscent of the early '60s HOT ROD magazines CarTOONS. The label on the "GRAPE GUZZLER" does NOT say "Cure for the Common Soda", but it does say "Hot, Sweet and Stinky" ... not sticky, but stinky. There is also a Root Beer flavor that BevNET doesn't mention. I am trying to find more of these, but the phone number listed on the label has been "disontinued or no longer in use". I wonder what an unopened bottle of Grape Guzzler would sell for, if you can find one.
