BevNET Review: Hype's Enlite variety is an energy drink that features a somewhat standard looking energy cocktail that has been sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, ace-k, and sucralose. The result is a drink that has only 10 calories, but still maintains a moderately natural sweetness and only a mild aftertaste. Between the pink color of the can and fluid and the floral backdrop that covers the package, it seems like this would likely be a drink targeted at the female consumer. Overall, the combination of enjoyable taste and clean packaging are a plus, but Enlite seems to lack anything that really stands out, especially given where the category is today.
